By Moonlight

Bright white-worn moon
Full gleaming eye of night
Looks down on diaphanous cream
Frothed sea-foam lace, billowing
Smooth caressing, draped, falling
Twirled, swirled dream-spun
glimmer, nylon shine
sinks still
against
flesh

Dream dressing gown
Gold mane tumbling
Fine pearl buttons on damasked silk
Moon-lit finery, trembling
Moon-found self, tripping
Over hem and heel to find
The path to daylight sun
And discovery

she comes at night
In the deep dark
To frolic in pale silk discovery
And in day she hides, quiet, ever watchful
To find her way
To find my way
To find a way
To be
One with the Moon
