Sissy has learned that the essence of h.er role is servitude to h.er wife/mistress. Even though sissy's superior does not know of h.er desires the House has taught h.er that servitude does begin in the inner state of mind and that makes such a wonderful difference. s.he finds great joy in trying to be a good wife in all ways. That includes gladly handing over h.er paycheck, cooking, shopping, cleaning so the house is the way h.er superior likes it to be. Cleaning the bathrooms and washing the clothes takes on a special meaning. sissy silently reminds herself through the days '"to be good sissy you must be an obedient and thoughtful wife". Prior to joining the House sissy did not fully understand the importance of these things to being a good partner.
